Thomas advises international clients on a wide range of matters, and has built up over a decade’s expertise relating to private business aviation, yachting and the maritime sector. He further represents clients in international structuring and privacy protection, and provides assistance in international litigation, sanction related matters and corporate and commercial law.
After studying law in at the University of Leiden (Netherlands), Thomas obtained his law degree from the University of Fribourg Law School (Switzerland) in 2000. He was admitted to the bar in 2003. After working at the district court of Höfe (Switzerland), and having practiced with law firms in Zurich and Geneva, he joined Klein in 2007. Thomas obtained his Master of Business Law of the University of St. Gallen (Switzerland) in 2008. He is a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and acts as the Swiss representative of Dutch Business Lawyers Abroad (DBLA). As a Dutch speaking lawyer, Thomas assists in addition various corporate and private clients from the Netherlands.
