Klein regularly interacts with authorities, represents clients in and out of court in relation to sanctions issued by various international institutions and advices its clients in various aspects thereof, amongst others on the legal framework, the application of foreign sanctions in Switzerland and abroad and its impact on the various industries, such as the banking sector, metal and other producing industries, the yachting and aviation industry.  

Given the wide impact of sanctions law and regulations, Klein assists its clients on an international level and actively coordinates and manages sanction related cases on a global scale. 

Klein furthermore regularly contributes on this topic, amongst others by co-chairing conferences on sanctions law in collaboration with the Institute for International Business Law and the University of Fribourg.
