Martin specialises in international trade and trade and export finance, business aviation, real estate finance, enforcement and insolvency matters as well as general contract and corporate law. He represents clients in state court litigation, administrative and international arbitration proceedings.
Since 2016, Martin has acted as Switzerland’s representative on the ‘Round Table Security Rights over Immovable Property’ think tank of the German Pfandbrief Association (vdp). In this capacity, he is a regular author of publications on developments in Swiss mortgage law.
Martin obtained his law degree in 2006 from the Law School of the University of Zurich (Lic.iur.).). From 2012-13, he attended post-graduate studies at London Metropolitan University where he obtained a LL.M. in International Trade, Transport and Maritime Law. He was admitted to the bar in Switzerland in 2010. Prior to joining Klein in 2020, Martin practiced law in an international law firm in Zurich and in the legal department of a major Swiss bank. He has been a Partner at Klein since 2023.
